1. What is the minimum Basic Salary allowed in the Provident Fund Act

2. Whether defination of Wages is applicable as per Minimum Wages Act.

3. In minimum Wages totol emoluments which can be computed in terms of money is Wages.

4. In minimum Wages Rate of Salary is defined and special allowance of the period to be added and if your total salary/wages is beyound the rate of wages as above then splitting is allowed.

5. If the answer of the 4th question is Yes then there is no legal bar to fix basic Wages at any amount.

6. Whether there is any legal provision to fix PF @ 50% of total salary.

7. In this regard i need relevant case laws if possible kindly post me the sale at the earliest.

Whether Provident Fund dedcuction is mandatory for Society registered under Tamilnadu Societies Reg Act, and has its units at various location at tamilnadu having activities such as Schools, Boarding and Charitable Activities. Society is presently deducting PF for the employees employed in School. The Officer from PF dept required to deduct PF for the temporary staffs employed in Boarding. Only 2 staffs employed in Boarding and rest of the staffs are members of the Society (Sisters). In such circumstances whether PF should be deducted.
