what is the min. wages as per Provident Fund/wages Act?Can we give lower than this limit????

As per Act, PF is compulsory for salary is less Rs. 7500/- p.m. Law does not stop you from deducting PF on those above this limit.
The ceiling limit is Rs.6500 and not Rs.7500.
If the salary is less than Rs. 6500/- p.m whether Its compulsory to deduct PF?
