I have given a property to a charitable trust with 12AA registration running school from pre-primary to higher education. I am confused whether i should charge GST on bill raised for rent as the total amount for the year will be more than 20 lakh.

Please Help!!

For all commercial spaces (only residential Exempt) that are on rent, GST will be applicable at 18% on the taxable value and rent would be treated as a taxable supply of service.
There is no specific Exemption to charitable trust.
So, in your case GST is applicable....
