Proper jurisdiction of deceased assessee.

Is the legal heir of a deceased assessee could claim ancestor refund/movable seized assets from her own jurisdictional assessing officer?

Quick Summary
The jurisdiction of a deceased assessee remains with their original assessing officer (AO) even after their passing. Legal heirs can therefore claim any ancestral refunds or movable assets seized by the deceased's AO. The original AO continues to handle all matters related to the deceased's estate for these purposes.

Yes you can claim
Jurisdiction of deceased assessee will remain with same AO . It won't change post death.

So for refund, release of movable seized assets etc , the deceased AO will be the AO for all purposes.
