28 July 2009if there is no need to submit any document with itr electronically, then y we need to submit proofs of tds and lic etc. ,when itr is filed mannualy??
pls clear me regarding the submit of proofs when,what etc??
is there any special exemption for delhi regarding non submit of any proof even mannualy?

No there is no need to file any proofs mannualy also that what the income tax authorities says as the itr forms are made annexure less. But in my opinion, if u want your refund at the earliest then it is advisable to attach a copy of your tds certificate.

Sub-rule (2) of Rule 12 of Income-tax Rules, 1962 clearly says that no document should be attached to the ITR. Section 139C of Income-tax Act, 1961 says, the documents should be submitted on demand by the Assessing Officer.
