If you have not cleared your exams in one attempt dont feel disheartened . Its not your fault if you were not able to clear all your exams.

There have been a whole lot of rumours of scaling down of results . Many people feel that this is just an excuse for not being able to clear.

Sec 39 of Chartered Accountants Regulations Act 1988, clearly states that the Result of Exams should be declared in the following Manner

1. 
(a) A list of candidates declared successful at each examination shall be published

(b) The names of candidates obtaining distinction in the examination shall be indicated in the list

(c) Every candidate shall be individually informed of his result. 

2. The Council may, in its discretion, REVISE THE MARKS obtained by all candidates or a section of candidates in any particular paper or papers or in the aggregate in such manner as may be considered necessary, for maintaining the standards of pass percentage provided in these Regulations. Explanation - The term "section" used in this sub regulation refers to the category of the candidates whose answer papers are value by an examiner and such other category of candidates as may be specified by the Council.

offcourse as the industry demand stands.. for FINAL...and to maintain trend for 2nd level... may be referred to Pass %age.... isn't it Kiran...?

Why a CA student compulsorily has to serve for 3+ years at meagre wages of 1500/- to 3000/- with utmost labour (forced or otherwise)...?

The explanation may come up as - " This is the most crucial period when the intricacies of this profession are to be learnt"

I Agree,COMPLETELY, than what all of a sudden happens wrong that only 85%-90% of the entire students make it to the ultimate....

Were they fit only for serving the 3+ tenure & when it comes to the examination they perform drastically poor each time....?

Now, change the scenario, allow only those who will and are capable of making it to the TOP & only these will be further allowed for TRAINING

Will the above SELECTED EMINENT candidates will work at 1500/- to 3000/- per month and above all "HOW MANY NO WILL ACTUALLY BE AVIALABLE" to these CA Firms...?

This is a VICIOUS CIRCLE, once you had put 5+ years in any profession there remails NO SCOPE of further changes (Quite inconvenient) & hence Keep trying on.....

It becomes more of a GAMBLE rather than serious task.....Since your sincerity remains winded in those ANSWERSHEETS of yours which are even not available for inspection....

I dn't understand , how your thought-process works , since , the above remarks are NOT ACCELERATING any depressions/failure rather bursting the CLOUD created of insincerity & non-intellect on the part of CA students

The sheer fact being it is the ROOT CAUSE of all these depressions which are heartingly welcomed & never ever opposed....
