can a company/organisation be a promoter in another company?

Only natural person can be a promoter but not legal person, In my view
please tell where it is written in Act or rules?
Yes, Company can become a promoter. Regarding the Organisation, please check if the concerned organisation has legal capacity to become a promoter of company or not.
