Please let me know whether proforma invoice to be treated as Final Invoice or we should obtain final invoice for accounting. Thanks in advance

performa is not an orginal invoice,,u cannot take it orginal invoice neither u take input claim on the basis of perfoma invoice...
A proforma invoice exists in order to give a potential buyer a precise figure of the final cost.
Normally a proforma Invoice is just to give an idea to collect advance payment. Suppose 50% advance payment to be made it gives an idea. In some cases Freight & Transport rwill be mentioned at "extra at actuals'..In some cases even Taxes & Duties will be mentioned with % at extra & they will furnish ony Product Value & collect advance payment.
