I am an employee in a PVT Ltd. company in mAharashtra and is liable to pay professional tax of Rs. 2500/- . Also I am a partner in a firm in Maharashtra.
For VAT registration of my firm, I had been asked by sales tax department to provide professional taxt no. My employer company does not have seprate P.T. number for me. Hence I needed to apply for P.T number sepeartely as Partner.
So will I be paying P.T twice, one as an employee in PVT. LTD. company and again as partner of firm
