Professional Tax is state govt tax. It is not same all over india. Slab are diffrent in diffrent state. Even it is not paybale in every state. In maharashtra, gujarat and karnatka it is taxed and in himachal, punjab and j&k it is NIL.

It is not State Govt. It is local bodies like, Corporation, Municipality Panchayat etc.
