Professional Tax is state govt tax. It is not same all over india. Slab are diffrent in diffrent state. Even it is not paybale in every state. In maharashtra, gujarat and karnatka it is taxed and in himachal, punjab and j&k it is NIL.
It is not State Govt. It is local bodies like, Corporation, Municipality Panchayat etc.
Hi Is Professional Tax applicable at Haryana and Punjab. if yes how to know more about this pls suggest some web site if any.
