Can anyone give details about the slab rate for professsional tax and any other details for the minimum no of employees for deducting the same

Hi,
Professional Tax is payable if you are having one employee also. this slab is different for states. For example, In Karnataka, salary upto 10000/- is nil, from 10001 to 15000 is Rs. 150/-, above 15000/- is Rs. 200/-
Hello Dear,
Profession Tax in Maharashtra is
Upto Rs.5000/- Nil
5001 to 10000/- 175
above 10000/- 200/-
for above 10000/- Rs.300/- only for the month of February.....
