Can anyone please explain to me the concept of Professional Tax??????

Profession Tax is charged for employees,to be collected by employers ,and payable by many profesionals like ,doctors,lawyers,CAs CWas,business dealers,partners,directors,lorry owners,etc at specified rates. Each state has its own rates and Acts for it. The maximum chargeable is Rs2500/- per person according to the Constitution......mjk
