Hello Every Buddy.,

Please let me know whether a CA in practice is permitted to use own developed Logo not approved by Council of the institute..??

Further ans whether a CA can use logo specified and approved by council on

a. website [as per me, Yes, coz the same is permitted by regulation no. 194A (not sure about this regulation no)]

b. social networking sites (as per me, No, coz this will amount an Indirect way of Advertisement soliciting work)

Clause 7 of Part 1 of First Schedule of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1946

According to me

A CA can use only common logo prescribed by Icai . CA can not use any other logo even on the website also. As ICAI has prescribed the logo it would amt to misconduct if any other logo than that prescribed by icai is given on the website.

will you please let me know about the link that can support about your answer, because, about use of logo, because one of top Audit Firm has not takan any objection on use of own developed logo by one of firm....
