good evening all, can anyone help us to know that is professional tax enrollment in west bengal is mandatory for two branches of same compony if both branches is situated in same Pin Code Number but diffrent Block Number

As per the amendments in Professional Tax Act and Rules, w.e.f. 01/04/2013, separate enrolment is required to be obtained by each branch or office or place of work in West Bengal of any firm, company, corporation or other corporate body, any society, club or association engaged in any profession, trade, calling or employment; and Professional Tax shall be payable against each enrolment number thus obtainable/obtained.
