24 September 2013I need to make a TDS payment u/s 94A of an individual. But the client does not possess a TAN. While making a payment through NSDL, the Challan 281 is not providing an option for PAN and is asking for a valid TAN.
Can someone suggest me the procedure to make the payment???

TAN is a mandatory requirement for deduction of tax at source except for section 194-IA.
