Problrm in E-Filling ST-3-Transport of Goods By Road

same problem is faced by us also,

whether we have to go without notification no 01/2006 ST or with 32/2004 ST.

ACES has already notified that despite of the fact" not available" assesee can select the notification and file, provided they have confidence about their selection

when we are filling ST-3 online for service transfer of goods by road we try to select abatment vide notification no 1/2006 ST then the same is not available in selection colomn & further sr no is also not displayed what will be the solution on it?

I think you can claim the abatement under notification no. 13/2008 - S.T. It will be in the list of abatment in S.T.-3.

It would be 13/2008 but I want to know how to fill the Service Tax Return of a Service Receiver.. Please expalin me in Detail.

No need to select the abatement notification.    If you have claimed exemption (for Export)  under Notification No. 18/2009 than select the same,  further no requirment to select any abatement notification . 

It is 13/2008, but this time you may follow below guidelines.

Modified version of the Service Tax Return (ST3) for the quarter Apr-Jun,2012 is now available for uploading to ACES. It is available in 'DOWNLOADS' section in offline version only and not online version.

When we are filling ST-3 online for service Transport of Goods by road (Period from 01/04/2012-30/06/2012)  but when we try to select abatement vide notification No. 1/2206-S.T. then same is not available and further SR No. is also not displayed for the same.What will be the solution? Please suggest.

It iss replaced with 13/2008 notification, please select 13/2008 notification for GTA abatement purpose. 

This time use only OFFLINE version return for the period Apr'12 to June'12.

MESSAGE DISPLAY ON SCREEN IS

Retun has been rejected for the following errors.

If no abatement notification no./sl.no is selected then abatement amount claimed should be zero

Dear All,

If you are availing abatement for GTA @ 75% then in the service tax return ;

1. Computation of Service tax field : in C1 - Has the assessee availed the benefit of exemption notification - select "Yes" 

and then in C2 - select the option 13/2008-S.T from drop down menu.

this will help your return be accepted and will not be rejected. 

Note : Pleas use the new ST3 return for April-June period.
