From 1st January 2021, IT department has updated all its return preparation utilities. Yesterday I downloaded ITR 2 in excel and started filling the data and to my surprise, it was not considering the amounts put under VIA sheet. You can enter the data but it does not reflect on the outer column. This results in omission of Chapter VIA deductions while calculating total income. Is there anyone facing the same issue?
If yes then please guide me with solution or guide me as to how can I highlight this to concerned authority.
