Problem while filing ITR form 2

While e-filing my father's ITR-2, I am facing a problem in "Computation of Total Income" section.

The details under head "3. Capital Gains" shows the required breakup of amounts but on the very same page the head "10. Income chargeable to tax at special rate under section 111A, 112, 112A etc. included in 9" displays 0.

As such all the capital gains are being clubbed with the salary and taxed at the applicable rate of 30% slab instead of 10% or 15%. I don't have any CYLA or BFLA. And I am filing this under Old Tax Regime.

Please tell me how to resolve this issue.

Hi Abhishek.
You need to fill point "F. Information about accrual/receipt of capital gain" under the Capital gain schedule

I had already filled it but the error was still there. And on that note I also wanted to ask how to enter negative figure in those ("F. Information about accrual/receipt of capital gain") since I have a slight loss in 1 quarter while gain in other 4 period range.

I also tried entering 0 in place of negative figure and carrying it and adding to next period to have the exact total which I have declared under gains.

The loss in the first quarter needs to be added with the gain in the next quarter. The net amount needs to be shown in the 2nd quarter

Already filled the required schedules for me. And all these schedules are showing green tick besides them. And even the capital gains breakup is being displayed in Total income but not under taxation at special rates.

I already did that's why I had earlier replied that I carried them to the next period meaning I added them to the gains in immediate period range that followed.
