i am a CA Final student......could i become agent of MAX NEW YORK LIFE INSURANCE to support my father running business as i would not be actively involved in this....my father shall use only my name as LIFE INSURANCE AGENT.
i am confused coz CLAUSE 11 of FIRST SCHEDULE says in list of permitted profession as "HOLDING LIFE INSURANCE AGENCY ONLY FOR LIMITED PURPOSE OF GETTING RENEWAL COMMISSION........
@ aditya As per clause-11 of part-1 of 1st shcedule you cannot become act as agent for any insurance company,However if yoy have become agent before this clause you continuing acting as agent anly for collection of renewal commission
Clause 11 is applicable to CA in practice not on Article Trainees..............................and I dont think that u can become Agent.....................
