When applying for a course conversion on the ICAI Self Service Portal (SSP), the "previous course marksheet" refers to the marksheet of the immediately preceding level you have completed or attempted.

What to Upload

  • If you are currently at the CA Intermediate level: You should upload your CA Foundation (or CPT) marksheet.

  • If you are currently at the CA Final level: You should upload your CA Intermediate (or IPCC) marksheet.

Key Points to Remember

  • Purpose: The document serves as verification of your academic progression within the ICAI system.

  • Document Format: Ensure the file is clear and legible. If there is an issue with your initial upload, you can generally edit and re-upload the correct document through the "Pending Applications" or "Student Module" section of the SSP.

  • Wait for Approval: After submitting your conversion form, the Institute typically takes up to 7 days to process and approve the request. Do not raise a support ticket before this timeframe has elapsed.

  • Post-Conversion: Once your conversion is approved, you will receive a confirmation email. You can then visit the CDSE portal to order your new study material.

Summary: In the conversion form, upload the marksheet for the level you just completed (e.g., Foundation marksheet for Intermediate students, or Intermediate marksheet for Final students).
