Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether an LIC and MF agent, also employed in a PSU, can opt for presumptive taxation under Section 44AD for their commission income. The consensus is that Section 44AD is generally not applicable to income earned from commission or brokerage. Therefore, commission earnings should be treated as business income under the PGBP head, separate from salary income, and attention should be paid to TDS on commission.

Sec 44AD not applicable to a person earning income in the nature of commission or brokerage.
No. You cant apply for Sec 44 AD
No you can't
go for normal business income
Choose,

2 heads

1.Income From Salary

2.Non - specified profession without books of account ( under 44AD)
Salary income will go under salary head.
LIC MF commission brokerage will be as business income under PGBP . TAKE CARE of TDS on Commission income
