Dear Freinds,
A Pvt Ltd Company has redeemed shares in FY-15-16 before balance sheet finalising ...But they are liable for receiving dividend for fy-14-15.
But can you suggest how can we pay them dividend in the forthcoming agm ,if they are no longer preference shareholders.

In the resolution you can mention record date for dividend as the date prior to the date of redemption of the preference shares.
