I thought to share with you the accounts paper of may 11 and nov 11 and based on that we can predict something about May 12
1 AS-
Many of us believe that are not so important. But, in Nov 11 paper these were asked of 16 marks as 7th question. So do not leave AS.
But, from where to study AS.
See, what so ever book you follow, you must go through the questions given in module and practice manual. Institute is continuously asking questions based on practice manual
2 Partnership Accounts-
I was shocked to see that in IPCC Nov 11 there was only a 5 mark question from Partnership. There was no long question of 16 marks from partnership.
So, definitely, there will be a question of partnership worth 16 mark in May 12
3 Hire Purchase
From 2 consecutive attempts Institute is not asking questions from this chapter
So, this time there is a chance of asking stock and debtors worth 16 marks. Prepare it well
4 Accounts from Incomplete Records
So there may be a 8 or 16 mark question from incomplete records
5 NPO
So may be this time they may drop NPO
Remember Accounts being the first paper should be prepared really well
