because in 38th GST council meeting held yesterday only late fees waiver for GSTR-1 was announced, subject to issuance of notification.
“waiver of late fee to be given to all taxpayers in respect of all pending FORM GSTR-1 from July 2017 to November 2019, if the same are filed by 10.01.2020”
Govt may considered Nil Return filed case
At present there is no such official announcement from the Government side. You may contact your Jurisdictional Office regarding this matter since it is a case of NIL RETURN.
Late fee for 3b won't be waived
Is it posible to close the Gst number, incase the business has been completely stopped? If so kindly let me know the procedures for a proprietory MSME industry.
