Possession of 2 pan cards by an organization

Dear Supporting Members,

If an orgainzation which is an Association Of Persons(AOP) has a PAN number in the name of AOP, later if it gets registered as a trust and obtains other PAN in the name of trust, can the organization retain both PAN numbers? If it can retain, please provide us supporting provisions, case laws...etc.,
