Pooja expenses generally would mean expenses on the purchase of material/goods used for pooja, services availed in the form of money paid to Pandit, pandal shamiana, catering etc. Wherever, you have suffered GST, you can take the credit. However, the availement of credit is subject to restrictions contained in section 16 and 17 and 18. Pl see that you are outside the purview of these restrictions before you avail the credit.

under Income tax law any pooja expenses unless other wise spent commonly for the benefit of staffs or gathering or sales team is allowed .
hence under GST also there is no furtherance of supplies involved or it does not form part of costing also.
it is disallowed
