Praveen i am 110 % agreed with you.. lots of people are doing just for point sake.. even i said lots of time this to the Admin..

Because as a moderator i cant do any thing i points.. i can edit any bodies answer or delete it.. if its not appropriate.. thats my power thats it..

Even i protest lots of time for this.. but never got any kind of powerful response..

You should gain point when ever you make a post. For each post points may be awarded on the base of quality. Quality of post may be decided by moderator

Yes You can award point for answers other then 'Other' fourms. In Fourm category 'others'  many of  the post's are just for appriciation or for Information. No one can reply other then "OK" "Gud"  "Nice" "Well done" "Well said". 

But moderator dont have such kind of powers.. he cant do any thing with the points

If they get point i can assure.. except one or two people no one will get 5000 points.. because i bel most of us have more than 50% points due to bakwas like gud ..nice

I Give u my example whenever i am posting any knowledgable message like on IFRS.. Hardly i get any participation usually no body is no reply.. because if they say .. good .. nice .. nice information.. i am shouting on them on that place only.. because i want some thing knowledgable discussion instead of bakwas discussion

But when ever i am sending any joke or any other kind of bakwas.. lots of people are sending message specialy thanks nice good ..

I somehow have diff opinion. Instead of reducing points why dont we look for another alternate like strict warning to those who only write "good, nice, thnx etc etc".

I request members to provide their ideas to make it possi. :)

one suggesstion,

if there is no point for replying for "OTHER FORUM" sms, than there will be no problem.

because most of the mails are just information, quotes, jokes etc. one can only reply nice, good, ok.

so if there is no point earning for reply on "other forum" than it should work

According to me, they have to remove the point system and introduce a grading system. which will be depend upon the quality of participation, quality of answer, quality of contribution.

According to the quality admin segregate the message and at the end of the month moderator will get the power for editing the grade.

If there will be no point system and grade will be there .. i bel quality of answer will improve.. because if answer will not good.. peope will not get benefited and they stop stupidity.
