What are the consequences if time gap between two board meetings exeeds 4 months???

Hi, the law says that each board meeting should be held in one quarter. That means, if one board meeting is held in janaury.., then another should be held by june.... That means, gap between two board meetings can be more than 4 months... The only compulsion is to hold board meeting in every quarter....

Only for listed companies the time gap should not exceed 4 months between two board meetings.. For other companies, dhiraj has rightly explained it..
