branch is a office located at different location other than registered office to make trading in such area easy.

whereas unit refers to manufacturing unit located anywhere.

but usually 2 terms are use interchangebly.

Branch refers to officies in different cities. Unit refers to functions which are under a branch - main or sub.

Branch refers to officies in different cities and units refers to functions which are under a branch .
