Dear All Newly Qualified CA, Pls Put Your Membership Number & Name and Sign it.

Respected Sir Greetings for the new Financial Year !

Sir, I am a member of this esteemed body and I really feel proud of being a Chartered

Accountant. But it was shocking for me to know that ICAI is sending degrees to the

Newly Qualified Members through post instead of arranging a formal Convocation

Ceremony which was the tradition of ICAI and also a dream of every person clearing the

CA exams. I am not aware about the reason for not holding this function but if the matter

is due to cost being incurred by ICAI on this then surely you can find a way out and shift

the burden of cost to the participants of the ceremony i.e the newly qualified members. I

hope you find my views correct and think of our dreams also and positively make

arrangements for the Convocation soon.

ICAI the beacon of many CA's / CA Aspirants, please restore the honors to all those who are the members of this revered profession, to feel proud by attending the convocation ceremony.

So kindly organize the event at the earliest and provide an opportunity to all those members to take pride in being part of a monumental journey of their careers. Hope, this will propel the brand CA image, which the Institute has envisioned about the profession.

Waiting for a formal and positive announcement from the Institute as soon as possible.

ICAI Convocation (II) - 2011. - (09-01-2012)

The Convocation for the newly enrolled Members admitted during the period April, 2011 to August, 2011 will be held as per schedule given below with a view to inculcate a sense of belongingness and attachment with the Institute.

For further details, members may contact the concerned Decentralised Office.

ATTENTION

Members participating at Convocation are requested to wear the Royal Blue Colour Blazer /Navy Blue Colour Blazer respectively and female members may wear saree / business suit while attending the Convocation and receiving the membership certificate. A tie and a lapel pin, saree pin in case of female members will be presented by the Institute to them at the convocation.

With a view to maintain uniformity in dress, members are advised to attend the convocation in the prescribed dress code only.

Accordingly Members enrolled from 01st April, 2011 to 31st August, 2011 are cordially invited to attend the convocation function on the respective date as per the schedule stated above.

Yes, now ICAI is arranging convocation at Ahmedabad and Pune for members enrolled between March, 2012 to August, 2012. But what about the members who have been sent Degree certificates via post. This is pure dicrimination by the institute.

Such an esteemed degree being sent by post is really very disappointing. This has come as shock Please members we need to take this to ICAI. And this matter should be addressed properly.
