Please suggest some tips for CAFM

Hello everyone.

I am doing IPCC and planning to sit for both groups in May 2011. My preparation is going on well and fine. However CAFM is becoming a big problem for me. I am so unprepared in that subject that it seems that it might lead my hard work into an ashtray. The biggest problems are with Marginal Costing, Standard Costing and Financial Management. These are the hardest topics in the entire IPCC syllabus. Even Advanced Accounts seems very easy for me. I even took coaching on CAFM but there is something missing in my efforts. Can anyone please provide me with some suggestions ?

Even a very tiny suggesstion will be of great help for me. THANK YOU.

hi yaar!

I suggest you to refer Padhuka book, by B.Saravanprasath. Its really good as it contain lot many problem to work out..

Hello Prasen,

First of all dont think it as a problem. Its just a hurdle to you.

Try to get the conceptual konwledge of the subject as how you are Loving the Advance accounts too.

Upto my concern, Even u done with the so many kinds of problems in costing, The problem you are going to face in examination is new one for sure, so what the thing you need to do is - Get the conceptual knowledge and the procedure.

When you love your subject instead feeling as a problem, then definitely i can say that success is behind you.

Go through the different models of problems and number of problems related to the same problem and try to remember the model and procedure of that model. In a word Just feel as cost and financial accounting is not a harder one to succeed , its quite easier thing.ofcourse its true.

Do all suggested answers after completion of every chapter and finish scanner.

And dont worry about the result friend. Dont lose hopes on your efforts (It may take time to get the result , if not succeed at a first time) But Hard work never fail.
