Please read this.....Dispute that happened

In our office new computers are brought that is system of NComputing is set up few days ago.

It is not working properly and in load shading even one computer does not starts on invertor and my principle just starts shouting at me that u are idiot and dont know how to start computer.

His words are this "GadhI ki tarah kaam karti hai"

Then all the articles have spend their summer without FAN and our boss enjoys in AC with employees and that too with cold drinks and we get tea or coffee.

i am not saying that why we should not get AC but atleast a FAN.

We dont want tea or coffee or cold drinks but just a good cold water in summer which was not available. Even the water of pot was finished within two hours that was too a hot water.

Then too all articles worked properly but he is not satisfied even in this he then too shouts at me and talks rubbish with me.

Now I am fed first i thought to quit before few months but then i thought why should sttitude and nature of other people should affect my Career.

what should i do.

i am not getting any way to move forward in my life.

My principle has made my life hell.

Many a times i thought to just eat poison and write down his name on piece of paper but that too needed strenght which i cant gather up.

Please help me out.

I have written many mails, letters, phone calls in ICAI but no action.

Even i talked to many CA's in our city and they are not ready to help they say " aappke CA ki pehchan bahut hain aur unke against koi nahi jayenga aur unko agar pata chal gaya ki koi CA ne aapki madad ki toh woh unki audit firms ko nuksan pahuchate hain aur yaha tak ki kahi sari audits hamare haath se bhi chale jate hain"

Now what to say about this man

He is just unbearable

Hmm a very complex situation.I would suggest you that if ur in last year of articles then go for industrial training.  If possible find a student council in institue i think they may help u in some or other form.

wats the name of CA and firm.. give me in my PM...

Once a king asked his governer to write any thing on his ring. The governer wrote on the ring '' YEH WAQT BHI GUZAR JAEGA''. I have also suffered. How many days are left for completion of articleship. I just cant help you but will pray for you.

i suggest u to call d president & vice pesident( no.'s on d icai site).. they will pick up ur call after10-15 attempts only, try calling them at regular intervals at reasonable hrsduring d day, ..dnt know wen u'll b lucky,. ask them for a solution & descibe ur sitution in brief. max times they are helpful and may suggest u a way out of d problm......hope it works.

erstwhile president whom many criticise did help suggest me a way out wen i called him for transfer related problm..last yr...

I don't know what to say in this situation, since the person who feels and face the situation is the best person to judge. But based on the situation you described, if I would be in your position, either i will try to adjust myself and try to keep patient till the time I can, or once my patience is over, then i will definitely do something big complaint against the Principal, no matter how powerful he/she be.

Also, in the time I spent in my patience, I will gather all proofs and evidences, which ICAI or any other authority require in support of my complaint. Also, while doing so, i will also take into consideration the safe point that my principle will say, also my weak points which they can point out and where I am wrong since, no body in this world is perfect, and every body has done something wrong in his/her life at some point of time.

Now, for the point of career, my belief is that after you patience period is over, then don’t worry for the carrier, because there is life beyond this, and here your life and your self respect as a human being is more important than your career. There is life beyond CA. No doubt you are ready to struggle and will take it as a struggling phase of your life, but then in case you opt for complaint, then that will also be the part of your struggle for CA.

What I have said, is not for making you to go against your principle, but what I want to say is that before taking any action, just think twice that where are you in the stage of patience i.e. whether your patience is long enough to take action or not. If you think so, then go ahead, if you are right, then nobody will stop you neither the approach of any CA nor ICAI itself.

Do remember the "Corporate" movie or "Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani" movie. I understand that your situation is not filmy, it is real life, but think for a while, where these persons, get the idea of a movie, from real life only. So why, to accept it if you are right. If you think, you are right then go ahead with your action. No matter, today nobody is with you, but when you move ahead many will join you, and if not, go ahead alone , why to depend on others.

As suggested by others, if decided for action make, direct complaints to the president, give notice to principal for misbehaving and if not. Make official complaint against the principal to the council. But before doing this, also consider in case you are wrong, then you will also have to accept your mistakes. If ready for that, then go ahead.

To be honest to you, I am very feeling very angry at ICAI by hearing your story and I am sure whoever comes to know about it will be with you in this sorry state of affairs. But the issue is that this chalta hai attitude is now deep rooted in our thinking and we cannot see beyond it, this is what I feel by the no. of replies I am seeing on this forum.

What I get it from your story is that the nature of your principal is abusive & dominating & the issues like fan & cold water are just mediums to express his nature. I can bet even if these issues are settled than he will use some other mediums to abuse you and your fellow articles.

Another myth is about ruining of career by your principal. Always remember you are the one who is going to guide where your career will go. If you don’t say anything now at an early stage of your life, God knows how far your future bosses will push you further just by that excuse. You have to know honor and dignity of person is the most important. You cannot go far in life if you let someone to play with you emotionally. You should know the career of your boss is also at stake. If the charges against him are proven than his COP can be revoked apart from other penalties. 

I know it is easier to say in this forum to go against your boss than to actually do and facing its effects. But you need to confront your boss so that he /she cannot manipulate you. The important thing is to be happy which is not possible if you are working for him/her.

I agree with Mr. Rahul to collect all the evidence against him so that you can prove your point. Also, be mentally prepared to face the counter accusations from him/her. Don’t expect someone to be with you its your fight and if someone helps you thats just a blessing.

I know ICAI is biased towards students however, if someone is suffering than definitely they will take the case into consideration. Be brave and I know a lot of students & members will come out in support of you.

and

i cant go back to that principle again

i have no patience left......

even now my family is not with me

my principle said my family members that your daughter is not listening to us and its matter of carreer so she has to do what i say.......

left with me is my luck which is not with me even being my from the day i have joined this office............

another thing is that god.....which is though invisible but 50% faith is gone from me.......

i feel that i am a helplesss b*tch leaving in this world and ready to face anything whatever anyone says with or without reason.........

i have not went to office from last 2 days and today my principle called me and said that "haan thik hai tujhe bol bhi diya kuch toh kya hua.....kal aa office"

when i replied ok i will be their to talk to you just bcoz u are big than me and i have been taught from childhood to treat people politely he asks me "kitne logon ko saath layegi phir"

i replied i will b their with my father to clear everything. he said ok u bring him i will talk to him

even now he is not satisfied that i have been hurted and it is necessary for me to get trf..

he reacts as if nothing has happened

anyways.......

this is what all about life is.....

i have three options.......

1. to continue the same

2. take trf

3. quit

first and third option are in my hand and second in hands of people about whom i think have just got life to trouble life i.e ICAI, my principle

anyways

tomorow i will go keeping in my heart hope, faith, patience to talk, calm mind......try to solve everything........bas..........

How many months of articles have u completed? Industrial Training is one option u can look at if u have one year maximum and 9 months minimum to go to complete your articles..

NO CA CAN REFUSE INDUSTRIAL TRAINIING, THERE HAS TO BE A BIG BIG JUSTIFICATION TO STOP U FROM IND TRAINING, IN your situation, that is the only way u can seek relief quickly and live at peace and complete ur articles

No CA has the right to treat the article like this , you can demand transfer even on the basis of ill-treatment. We work under them does not mean that they treat us like some filth.. So seek information about industrial training from you regional branch of the Institute and try to get out of there...

The Institute should take up such matters on priority. In Journals and Seminars the office bearers make loud promises but in reality they do nothing.

How such a person be granted CA certificate, when he doesn't even know how to talk to his juniors? They should be taught lessons of ethics and communication skills in a class! Such CAs must be removed from the membership list for life time. Don't they know that with this kind of their behaviour they are playing with somebody life. Would have they liked if such things have happend with them when they were doing their articleship!

I think we should make clear such things to the higher officials at the Institute. If they can't resolve such problems, then they have no right to be in the office.
