i got selected at mahindra satyam, hyderabad as financial consultant(ERP implementation).
i heard some of my friends saying that once we go into that field we can never come out of it.
please suggest me whether the job profile will be good or not??? or is it very much deviated from our profession?
please let me know..i have to give my consent today.

Financial consultant / analyst profile is one of the most sought after job in our indusry. After 2-3 years, You'll be premier candidate in banking industry which is highest paying industry & consultancy industry which is most highly rated industry.
It is deviated from normal CA stuff like taxation & audit but you'll be entering highly regarded community.
But the competition is fierce & you have to be really good at your job. MBAs are always chasing these jobs.
You always have option to come back but thats not what you'd like..
Go ahead & get ready for cut throat competition.
