No man only a Director who is holding a qualification shares if required will be Shareholder of that company otherwise not.

thanx but i am not a man plz

member = owner = shareholder... so a director not holding any shares in the company is not a member... juss a representative of the members of the co...!

THANX

agree wid ankit..

Problem is resolved thanx

i have a different view if a director signed in the AOA/MOA or subscribing to it even without holding any share is a member of the company.

agree wid christo........

K that means it depends on what is stated in AOA and MOA of company??

I think it is clearly mentioned in our study material. in companies act, in definition of members, any way members will be clearly stated in MOA, i think so......

@ cristo... chk the defination of member..

@ cristo... chk the defination of member in Companies Act, 1956

shareholder=owner=member =company.....director cant be a member if he is not holding share in dat company.....

agreed with cristo
