Hii,My question is - If a person is already working in a company/firm as an accountant only and is willing to do CA . What will be the criteria for joining CA? Does that person needs to do articleship or his experience of accountant will serve that need? Please reply.

Everyone has to go under articleship training mandatorily.

are you sure?

Yes. .......
Actually some courses consider work experience also..

But for CA no exemption is there.

okay,Thanks sir :)

instead of ca do cima or acca which doesnt require articleship and go internationaly

what about CMA (us)? Apart from this, I would like to know about their scope in india, in a case if a person wants to work only in home country. Do these courses have any scope in India?

Not Really !

People are working for Organisations of US but it is of very less in Numbers. So I dont think it have much scope if you want to work in INDIA.

okay then a person should go for Indian courses if he wants to work in home country only. But its not possible for every person to pursue articleship after a certain age due to whatsoever reason..then what that person can do in such a circumstance in finance field. Any suggestion?

Don't do any course or do CA by taking dummy articles

okay,Thanks venkat

You can go for CPA. CPA demand is increasing day by day and it will not take much time compare to CA. Big 4 and companies who have shared service center in India need CPA and scope is also great. CPA is very much practical oriented It can be completed in 1 year and has demand worldwide unlike CA.wink
