He understood that Gold is somewhere on the Enchanted table.
There are three boxes in a table.
One of the box contains Gold and the other two are empty.
A printed message contains in each box.
One of the message is true and the other two are lies.
The first box says 'The Gold is not here'.
The Second box says 'The Gold is not here'.
The Third box says 'The Gold is in the Second box'.
Which box has the Gold?
The Gold is in the 1st box...
As it is written that One message is true and other two are lies..
If the gold is in 2nd box than 2 messages would be true: 1st box message: The Gold is not here 3rd box message: The gold is in the second box.
If the gold is in 3rd box than 2 message would be true: 1st box message: The Gold is not here
2nd box message: The Gold is not here
But only if the gold is in 1st box than 1 message is true and 2 are lies
1st Box message : The Gold is not here: It's a lie (because the gold is here)
2nd Box message: The Gold is not here: It's true (because it's in first box)
3rd Box message: The Gold is in the second box: It's a lie (because second box doesn't have gold)
