Hi There, My brother has worked in one of the MNC's for 3 years and 1 year back he went to USA for further studies. is it better to withdrawal the pf amount or keep it in the same account and

what are the consecquences if we withdrawal ?

how to withdrawl ?

what happens if we not withdraw that PF amount

If it is withdrawn now, proceeds would be taxable (as 5 yrs service is not completed)
If you don't withdraw in the near future, you would get interest credit upto 3 yrs and after that no interest.
You can withdraw the balance even after that but only difference is no interest credit.
