Pf deduction

It will depend on the HR policy of the new organisation. In many organisations deduction of PF is not optional. He has to check with the payroll dept. whether is mandatory or optional. If it is mandatory in the new organisation then he has to submit the old UAN to the payroll dept. No need to take new UAN from EPFO.

Further clarify this point, for example, i have uan no with old organisation and i joined new organisation, then hr dept say me if you have already uan no then  it is mandated for you to deduct pf from salary is it true or false according to law to deduct the same if  i am not willing to deduct the same. hr say if your uan no no generated then mandatory to deduct pf from your salary any law regarding this pls clarify.
