Please see section 115C(e) for the definition of persons of Indian origin.
A person shall be deemed to be of Indian origin if he or either of his parents or any of his grand parents was born in undivided India.
A person is said to be of Indian origin if either he,or his parents or any of his grand parents was born in undivided India.
any person or there ancestor who were staying in india before the indian partition can be called up as person of indian oirgin
