The value of perquisite depends upon the type of employees (i.e. govt employees or non-govt employees) and the population of city where the accomodation is given.

Perks will be lower of the following:- i:e Rs. 70,000 and any amount recoverd as rent from the employee will be deducted from this Rs. 70,000

1) Lease/ Rent paid - Rs. 70,000

2)15% of Salary - i"e 15% 6,41,180 = 96,177

Basic = 4,00,000

Conveyance = 1,53,600 (Exempt 800/month)

Bonus = 27,323 (proportionately for 8 months)

Leave encashment = 60,257 (proportionately for 8 months)
