friends.....Can we take leave for more than 2 months for the exams conducted by institute as the training guide issued by icai they have mentioned that the principal shall not give leave for more than 2 months....if the principal grants leave in excess of 2 months then what action can be taken on the article and the principal???????-please i need some responsible answers....awaiting for reply....thanks in advance

its between you and your principal. If 2 of you agreed you can take more leave also.
My principal is ready to give even 6 months of leave as i have done lots of hardwork and time given during the articleship period.....then can i take 6 months leave???????...and after that take a extension for the excess leave taken.....if yes then what will be the maximum period we can take extension???????
It's between u and ur principal bt make sure that the total leave availed by you during the tenure of ur articleship for the whole period does not exceed the leave prescribed by the Institute Training guide.If anyhow u exceed the leave prescribed by the Institute ur articleship might get extended.
Bt as far as availing leave for exams goes u can take more than 2 months leave if ur principal allows you. Bt keep the above points in mind.
yes......exactly.....but if my articles extend to the number of period of excess leave will it affect my final attempt or i can give the final attempt at the time due??????....thanks in advance
That depends even after extension of articleship to be eligible for Final if u complete the prescibed period of articleship as laid down by the Inst to be eligible for Final. For ex : if the eligibilty of appearing for Final is after two years of internship in this case two years means the no of days u have worked eliminating excess leave if any.
I enquired with the help desk in icai........they said no excess leave will affect the final attempt and i can give my final at the time when it is due.......
okay then no one better than the Inst can guide u right. Confirm the same again and go ahead wid ur leave then.
