hi friends

i m refering VK SINGHANIA's book for income tax purposes.

can any one suggest any other book for fast reference during the exams.

please reply.

Hi Jigjag,

I would advise u to use T.N Manoharan, it is apt for P.E II examination purpose.

It is believed that Singhania is excellent to perfect Taxation from Career perspective. However T.N Manoharan is more than enough to get a very good score in P.E II.

i guess that taxman is one of the best books..
but for a better understanding and you can always refer to READY RECKONER..
it will help you to solve problems faster

padhuka is very simple and easy to revise.
singhania is VERY HEAVY for pe2.

Hi,

I think you must study with the book with which you are comfortable.

If you are studing VK SINGHANIA sir book then youmust continue that but if you want to change the book then i will suggest GIRISH AHUJA's sir book as it is student friendly. :)

this is my suggestion that if u are appearing the forth coming may-07 you do not change the reference books.  If you are appearing in Nov-07 they may go for this decision.

1.  T. N. Manoharan reference books.
2.  G. Sekar ref. books

either or choice.

i think GIRISH AHUJA is best for PE2 along with u will also use ajay jain sir book for quick review because jain's book is the compostion of best shortcut.. use this one
