PE II TO IPCC

ya pranjal u can sit in nov 10 exam, and you will get paper wise exemption in IPCC. I mean if u passed any paper/group, then subject involved will be excempted for IPCC. But my advoce would be wait for some notification from institute as we are hoping that they will announce something in our favour.

I am also in d same situation but i thnk we must start our study right now for d next nov. 10 exams............bcoz i dnt thnk so tht ICAI will give sme relaxtion/favor to PE- 2 students...............and you will get paper wise exemption in IPCC as well..........

If u get any updation on coversion of PE-2 to IPCC from the ICAI dn pls. update me also........i would be highly obliged to all of u

dont worry bro.... we will have justice... institute people themselves have realized that some injustice is done for pe2 in recent past... and they will surely act in our favour

Hi friends.. I am Also a PE2 background candidate. I have passed group 1 in may2006 and i had submitted an application for conversion into PCC in feb2008 but after the notification from ICAI regarding the extension of attempts I opted to write PE 2 exams but I couldnot even attempt the PE2 exams. Now PE2 attempts are going to be exhaused and I am planning to write the exams in nov.10. In this case will my conversion from PE2 to PCC be valid? to write the exams in nov2010 I have to do 100 hrs computer training. Will i be eligible to write the exams in nov.10 if I complete the computer training? pls advice me If anybody is in similer situation and has got any idea these this things.

Start studying guys....but think of waiting before getting converted to IPCC....ask your known PEII friends to shoot e-mails to BOS Noida, so that they may understand the intensity of problem....an announcement has to come from the Inst. regarding the conversion to IPCC....we cannot be left to assume everything on our own regarding the future of PEII..

some how even i feel that some good may bestow us all....After all what is life without HOPE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, you all guys. I am also a PE 2 student and couldn't clear any of the group. Well, I think now PE-2 students will not be allowed to convert in PCC they only will be allowed to convert in PCC and paperwise exemption will be given in the IPCC also.

Hi Pranjal.

First, you will get paper wise exemption in IPCC.

i.e

Paper1,2 and 3 of PE-II will be exempted in IPCC as Paper 1,4, 5 and 6.

And you will have to give exam in Nov. 2010 for only 3 subjects i.e Paper 2. 3 and 7.

Don't worry.

Yes you will be allowed to sit in November 2010 exam as you have cleared 1st group.

And further if any PE-II student who has not cleared any group of PE-II will aslo be allowed to sit in IPCC exam of Novemeber 2010 provided he or she has cleared PE-I or foundation exam.

from my point of view u should wait for some announcement as waise bhi hum IPCc main convert to ho hi jaege....aisa kuj na ho jae ki aap convert kar jao or baad main hamare liye koyi naya wayout nikal jae... choiice is  urs
