dear friends, in my opinion Institute is not following the principle of natural justice in case of PE-I + PE-II scheme students.They have already devoted much of their professional life till PE-II.......students under this scheme should be given some relaxation in terms of reduced articleship period and early final attempt..people will be shocked to know that it takes 69 months ( 5 years and 9 months) to complete CA under captioned scheme.Now we have some students associated with us for this cause..those who want to get their CA done early, pls come together..atleast make an attempt by requesting to council..pls be with us so that we can represent ourslv with a worthy and decision making attendance..please stick a note if u r with us.. my friend had a chat with Mr.Sagar,Jt.Sec.ICAI he has also prepared contents to be sent to institute by each student who thinks he is suffering so come ahead & post your email id so that i can forward you the application please post your email id as soon as possible for early action

I think you are right but all PE2 students were given chance to convert themself into new scheme of PCC when PCC was implemented.

ICAI did not forced any student to stay with the PE2.Moreover ICAI president it self gave explanation about the differences of both the course and time frame etc.

So it is wrong to say that you are suffering.If I am not mistaking then you have still chance to be converted to new scheme IPCC.

Remember when ever new cource is implemented by ICAI, current students are offered to opt for a new course.They recommend to opt new course but allow to keep the old course up to reasonable lenght of period.

i have started this thread for old final students everybody has their view also i have gone ahead with this issue & institute has told that if you get together as many students with you then matter will be forwarded to higher authorities as told by jt. sec Mr. Sagar so those wanna raise this issue should react in 2-3 days as we have to send a mail with regn. no & other details of the students together so come ahead & raise this issue

hi am a pe2 stdnt 4m pe1 stream,cleared grp 1 in nov08..wrote my grp 2 in jun 09.. i just spoke 2 icai regarding results n conversion 2 pcc/ipcc..dis is wat dey said

1. pe2/pcc results will cum in aug last week..

2. pe2 stdnts who came thru degree hav 2 wait 4 d results..they cant convert 2 pcc/ipcc until d results r out..

3. pe2 stdnts who came thru pe1 hav 2 convert 2 ipcc n get paperwise exemption in ipcc n dey cant start articles until dey clear group 1 of ipcc..

i think its injustice for pe2 students who came 4m pe1 bcoz dey hav 2 waste 1 year to get registered for articles bcoz last date for ipcc registration is july 31st..dey can take up der exam oly in nov 2010 n dey cant start der articles in 2012..
