THE PCC STUDENTS CAN CONTINUE THEIR ARTICLESHIP EVAN AFTER CONVERTING THEMSELVES TO IPCC. THE FACT HAS BEEN CLARIFIED BY THE ICAI THROUGH FAQs HOSTED ON THE WEBSITE IN THIS RESPECT. THE RELEVANT PORTION IS AS UNDER:-
Q.5 Whether the articled assistant needs to take termination before joining the IPCC.
Ans. No articled assistnat will have option to either continue with article training as per articled deed already executed or take termination at the time of joining the IPCC

Note:- In my article What to do - PCC or IPCC , it is mentioned that the PCC students have to take mandatory break from articleship training on joining the IPCC was not correct and the error in this respect is highly regretted.
Any way I have posted suitable comment to the article and also informed the admin to put a note in this respect with the article .
It is good news for the PCC students who wants to convert them to IPCC
