hi, It is obvious that you face time shortage,if it is very difficult for you to study for exams,it is advisable to quit you present job & join a medium sized firm.

Dont Bother too much about exam. even i am under your category, with a only difference that i am working in a medium firm.Practical knowledge matters more than bookish knowledge

hi... im doing my articleship in a medium based firm frm last 9 months... but i had not started my coaching,... n even not started 100 hour computer course... my attempt is in nov-2008...
im very much disturbed by dis... pls assist me to pass out frm dis... n also guide me in selecting my coaching centre in hyderabad..

dont bother about 100 hour computer course. none of the institute teaches better in computer training. you can very well learn it practically. i have never attended any computer course, but i know to handle computers, because of my practical exposure in my audit firm. as far as preparation are concerned start from now you can very well score. since i am in chennai i dont have any idea about coaching centre in hyderabad. daily sutdy 12 pages totally from the subjects in which you not undergo coaching. so that you will be able to complete it in 3 and half months. and you can use the rest of the time for preparation of the subjects which you underwent coaching.

you are working in big 4. basically u have problem with time managment. try to avoide coaching classes like costing and fm. i also took them from ashish kalra but never attended the classes regularly so after 4 months of cost &fm classes i was totally blank but i started studying it myself and within three months only i have made a strong grip on it .As they say self study has no other alternative. try to wake up early in the morning and devote at least 1 hour to study, although this sounds very uncleji type but u can follow this schedule when u r out of station also. but take income tax classes from ajay jain sir, i m saying this because he will teach u the way to study law which will help u in other subjets also . also he will guide u a lot. coaching classes are not at all compulsory for passing pcc exams. this is only a trend that our seniors have made in past few years. what is more important is right guidance. also u have a lot of time left for exams. also , stick to a particular & good book for each subject and do not shuffle books for a single subject. marks and % dosent matter a lot after the first 50 ranks. all that matters is ur communication skills and definetly ur practical knowledge. in interview they will ask u practical things and not bookish knowledge. so dont worry continue ur articleship, u always have edge while working 4 the big 4. if u liked my reply please tell me one thing that wheather u got articleship in the big 4 by refrence or simply they accepted ur resume and called u. i will also like to know that what it will take for me to get in one of the big 4.

i'm doing cost and accounts right now.... n also had planned to do information technology along with the 2 subjects but somehow unable to give information technology ne time... n in nov going to delhi for income tax,audit,law.... could somebody just suggest how to plan out things.... my attempt is in nov next yr....

NOW I AM IN PCC.BUT MY CARRER IS NOT GOOD.I PASSED CPT IN 123 MARKS.I WAS NOT LABORIOUS.BUT NOW I WANT TO STAND.BUT FOR ARTICLESHIP I ONLY STUDY FOR 3 HOURS.I WANT TO GET RANK .PLEASE GIVE ME INSTRUCTIOS.

Please phase out your reading \and start Studying the Subjects.When I say Start Studying read atleast for 2 hrs in a day.May be after 3 months it will help to concentrate and read more.If you start by now it is fine. How busy with your Articleship it is immaterial.One complete reading should be over by Feb 2008 for all subjects.

RESPECTED SIR my pcc attempt is in may2009. what books i should follow.as there is no proper pcc books in market.how can i prepare specially in auditing

CA material is enough to begin with.There is not much changes in OLD and New.
