Dear Aswin,

We all just have to grin and bear it. Probably we will get final attempt after 3 years of articles, but i dont expect a reduction in the period. Since 1st CPT batch is almost through with articleship, ICAI will think if the later batch is getting advantage. So if nothing happens by December, dont expect anything to happen. :(

My articleship period for 3 years end in 01 feb. 2010 ...i hope the decision comes out sooner than that...

May b By this nov they will relise the notification about this.........

why live in expectaions ?

be prepared for both the situations.

institute is itself confused about the right CA exam pattern.

and we are victums of such frequent changes.

best of luck for ur exams and article ship ... its gud for us... but without degree its not help us.so with ur articleship training  plz  concertate  on  ur study also...... ok guzzzzz

Thanx  to  Mr. Uttam Prakash Agarwal who has constituted a commitee to consider matter of reduction in period of articleship by   6 months in response of our mails which I continuously send him for last 1 month. U can check this announcement at following link

Now I request to all PCC student to mail to our ICAI President and other officials of ICAI to take a decision soon on this matter. U can send ur mails to following IDs
