Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether payments made by a Co-op Society to members upon their death, debited to P&L, qualify as business expenditure under Section 37. The eligibility hinges on whether such a clause is incorporated into the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). If not included, the expenditure will likely be disallowed.

Provided such clause incorporated in MOU.

Sir do we need to disallow this expenditure under section 37? if yes than on what specific grounds?

If not incorporated under MOU, it is to be disallowed.
