AGREED.

fee paid to ca- coachingdoes not attracted to the provisions of sec.80c as ca- course is not full time

As per the conditions for claiming 80C

1) it should be paid for your children ( max 2) for full time schooling of any recognized institte.,

2) only "tution fees" is eligible, excluding, dev fees, secssion fees, exam fees, library fees, uniform fees or whatsoever may.

The same will not be allowed as deduction....

Hey Dipi

C.A. is not a regular course so deduction u/s 80 C of Tution Fess is not eligible in this case.

...........GOD BESS YOU...............

Deduction not available for part time course:- The deduction is available for Full Time courses only.   In our opinion no deduction is available for part time or distance learning courses.

Fees for Private tuition/Coaching Classes not eligible for deduction u/s. 80C :- The fees should be paid to university, college, school or other educational institution. No deduction available for fees paid for private tuition’s , coaching courses for admission in professional courses or any other type of courses are not covered as that fee is not paid for FULL time education.

Location of University, college, school or other educational institution: University, college, school or other educational institution must be situated in India though it can be affiliated to any foreign institutes.:)

Fees paid for CA coaching is not eligible u/s 80C. But interest paid on loan taken for CA course is eligible for deduction u/s 80E from AY 2010-11. (Finance Act 2009).

Agreed with but there is some maximum limit of deduction and CA course is not full time,so it can not be applicable.

agree with above views

Ca course is not a regular course , while the deduction under section 80C is allowable only to full time regular course. So question of claiming deduction for tution fees doesn't arise at all. So there is no ambiguity in this regard.

Not eligible for deduction u/s 80C.

Yes fee paid for CA not eligible for deuction under section 80C, as CA is not a full time course.

Agreed with above views
