No, a partnership firm cannot be a shareholder in the company. The Partnership Firm does not hold a distinct identity like a company.
Therefore, if the partners are willing to holds shares in name of partnership, they can hold shares jointly in same ratio that is decided in partnership deed.
i mean to say except of section 8 company no partnership can be the member of the company sorry
